River Forest Painted Lady, Revisted
-
From 2017 to 2024 we continued working on The River Forest Painted Lady to create a kitchen/breakfast room addition and furnishings throughout the home.
-
The new breakfast room addition lets in tons of light while featurin custom millwork to match the existing details throughout the original home.
-
The new mudroom boasts loads of customized storage.
-
A view outside from the island. Check out the custom tin ceiling!
-
So many details! A custom hexagon tile floor, quarter-sawn oak island, and painted inchyra blue cabinetry.
-
A true cooks kitchen complete with 6-burner Blue Star gas range, appliance garages to hide all of the countertop supplies, convenient apron-front sink and paneled dishwasher.
-
Custom-designed hexagon tile floor by JWD.
-
The former dining room became the new family room.
-
Butler’s pantry serves up cocktails on the weekends and coffee during the weekdays.
-
Victorian Eastlake-inspired cabinetry handles.
-
The home’s grand foyer features all original millwork and architectural details. The addition of wallpaper, lighting and stair runner completed the space.
-
Finishing touches to the space…cushions, stair runner and window treatments.
-
Inside the turret is a cozy reading nook with custom window treatments and chaise lounge.
