Farmhouse Primary Bath & Powder Room
Project Partners: Jacknow Construction
A farmhouse project gave us the opportunity to work with clients looking to enlarge their primary bath and update the powder room. The primary features a custom marble console sink with brass finishes, shaded sconces, overhead lighting, and a mirrored medicine cabinet for storage.
We took space from a nearby closet to incorporate a generous walk-in shower (with an equally generous niche), set off with custom millwork and a gorgeous arch detail.
Lined in marble subway tile and a basketweave floor tile pattern, the shower offers natural light and more brass touches.
A generous tub beneath an inset arched niche sits on a diagonal black-and-white tile pattern.
The niche serves a functional purpose—it’s where the bath fixtures are—and echoes the shower entrance arch while providing space for decorative touches.
Brass towel hooks by the shower complete the look.
We also created an elegant powder room with a carved marble wall-mounted sink and brass touches throughout, including the exposed bridge-style faucet.
We designed a custom black and white hexagonal tile floor pattern, along with applied wall molding in a peaceful dusty rose color wash from top to bottom.
